MayoLynx ("the app") is developed and operated by MayoLynx. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
- Email address and password — used to create and authenticate your account via Firebase Authentication.
- Steam profile data — your Steam ID, display name, and avatar image, fetched from the Steam API when you choose to link your Steam account.
- App preferences — notification settings and display preferences stored in your account.
- Server membership — which servers you have joined within the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To display your profile and server memberships.
- To sync your preferences across devices.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) — we use Firebase for authentication and data storage. Data is stored on Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Steam (Valve) — when you link your Steam account, we retrieve your public Steam profile via the Steam Web API. See Valve's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account from the Settings page in the app, which removes your authentication record. To request complete removal of all associated data, contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
MayoLynx is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
